** Important - After you vote, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to confirm your vote. After opening the new page - be sure to click "VOTE" again to ensure that your vote counts!

Grameen America needs your support today. The top ten winners of this competition will win an audience with the Obama administration where Grameen America will lobby for new laws that would enable an easier and faster expansion of microfinance in America.

We will propose new laws that encourage the growth of the social business concept and regulations that permit the establishment of companies to provide services to the poor that are measured by the services they provide rather than whether shareholders received dividends or profit.

We will suggest regulations that would allow a microfinance organization to expand through holding federally guaranteed savings deposits.

We will also discuss the welfare and Medicaid laws, to be redesigned to encourage people to gain financial independence.
Help Grameen America reach its goals by voting today!
